Former PhD student awarded the Best Paper 2023

Oskar Skoglund, a former PhD student at our department, has been awarded the Best Paper 2023 by the International Journal of Steel Structures. The award is issued in cooperation with the steelmaking company POSCO and the Korean Society of Steel Construction (KSSC). Oskar’s paper reviews the use of high-strength steel for bridges and the reasons hindering further utilization. The announcement is published here: www.springer.com .
